Introduction to Medium Density Fiberboard

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is a kind of man-made board made of small-diameter logs, logging and processing residues, and non-wood plant fiber raw materials, which are sliced, steamed, fiber separated, dried, and then applied with urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives, and then hot-pressed. Its density is generally in the range of 500-880 kg/m3, and its thickness is generally 2-30 mm.
Medium density fiberboard is a product developed in the mid-1960s and has developed rapidly since then. The reason is that it has excellent physical and mechanical properties, decorative properties and processing properties.
Ingredients: wood or plant fibers other than wood
Density: 0.5-0.88g/cm3
Production method: The wood or plant fibers are mechanically separated and chemically treated, mixed with adhesives and waterproofing agents, and then formed at high temperature and high pressure.
